A Reason to Get Up and Get Out

Oliver, Jacob and I

Sometimes you just need a reason to get together with friends.
It doesn't always feel worth it to spend the money on train tickets or to take out a weekend for them, as special as they are, but I realize that I always find afterward that I'm sad that it was so short.

It's partly that way about exchange, where it costs money and yeah you lose a year from home but you'll find that even at (about halfway through for me) you've made a new home.

Just like these friends that you got your butt outa your host town to go see, they are your family.
And it'll be rough leaving them.
